Description: North Coast does it again!
Ho. Lee. Crap. As soon as I took the first whiff, this beer floored me. It is golden smokey and mysterious.
This beer has been aged in Bourbon barrels, and that comes through strongly, but is in no way overbearing or harsh. But that’s like all the flavors in this. Everything about this beer is strong. But it’s strong in a classy, sophisticated sort of way. It’s… horribly decadent.
You know how some beer you get one after a while, and you take that first sip, and you think, “Holy crap! This beer is awesome. I forgot how amazing this beer was.” With this beer, every sip is like that.
This revue is short. Not because this beer isn’t worth it, but because I can’t quite come up with words to do it justice right now.
No, it’s because I’m more into drinking it right now, not wanting to write about it. This beer is just… one of the best I’ve ever had.
